Redditch Bonsai Society is a small, friendly society whose aim is to practice the ancient art of bonsai with like-minded people. Our varied annual programme includes talks, demonstrations and workshops. The more experienced members are always willing to give advice and encouragement to newcomers and we have a small collection of books and magazines.

How we operate - Explanations
Display Table
In our monthly meetings, there's a table for members to bring in trees. We encourage you to bring a tree (or more), especially if it fits the display table theme listed above. It gives us more to discuss, and you can get a range of suggestions and opinions on your tree(s)!
Workshops
Bring a tree (or several) and some tools! We'll spend a couple of hours together and do some practical bonsai.
Become A Member
Help support the spread of Bonsai knowledge throughout Redditch and the surrounding areas. Membership is just £30 per year and helps keep us running. Joining a Bonsai society is a great way to learn more, get ideas, and support. It's also a possible way to expand or reduce your collection. Contact us on the phone number below, or simply turn up to a meeting if you're considering joining!
Competition
We hold a yearly competition. This gives you the option to bring in trees and possibly win an award.
Speaker Nights
Welcome local or national Bonsai Artists. These will usually have a theme, but the discussion is pretty free. A great chance to get to know some professionals.
